Francis Xavier Mugambe has been laid to rest at the priests’cemetery at Rubaga Cathedral. During the requiem mass that preceded the burial, various mourners spoke highly of Mugambe’sdedicated service to the Church and country. The now Late Bishop Paul Lokiru Kalanda will be laid to rest on Friday 21st August, 2015 at Bukalasa Seminary beginning with a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Rt Rev. Lokiru Paul Kalanda was Born at Buwunde, Masaka Diocese, on 24th Feb.1927, and was ordained priest on 21st December.1957. Paul Ssemogerere, the Bishop of Kasana-Luweero Diocese has implored legislators to reject the proposed law that seeks to legalize abortion in the country once it is tabled.
